Dr. Collins teaches courses in substance abuse, abnormal psychology, and ethics and professional development.
Research
Dr. Collins' research focuses on behavioral economic theories of substance abuse, particularly studies of nicotine. Current projects are investigating the effects of alternative reinforcing activities on nicotine withdrawal and craving for nicotine. Below are some of his representative publications.
