Community Resources

There are a number of resources available to members of the OSU and Stillwater community that can help you if you are in a moment of crisis or are feeling unsafe. Below is a list of some of those resources, though more may be available that are not listed here:

Domestic Violence Resources

There are a number of community and online resources available to you if you or a loved one is experiencing domestic violence or unsafe living conditions. Below is a list of resources that may be beneficial for you.

Online and Mobile Resources

Additionally, there are many resources available both online or through an app on a mobile device that may be able to assist you in a moment of crisis or when you just need to talk to someone. Below is a list of some of those resources as well as a short description for each resource:

  1. ADAA - A good website that lists various tips and ideas for managing anxiety symptoms. https://adaa.org/living-with-anxiety/managing-anxiety
  2. Calm. 3-25 minute meditations of various types. (found via the App Store or Google Play Store)
  3. What's Up? Cope with anger, anxiety, and depression through tools, such as a diary or tracker. (found via the App Store or Google Play Store)
  4. MY3. Create your own safety plan, recognize warning signs, and contact close people. (found via the App Store or Google Play Store)
  5. PTSD Coach. Get support with managing PTSD symptoms. (found via the App Store or Google Play Store)
  6. Breathe2Relax. Helpful for anxiety, stress, depression, etc. (found via the App Store or Google Play Store)
  7. MoodTools. Help with depression symptoms. Thought logs, safety plans, meditations, etc. (found via the App Store or Google Play Store)
  8. Sanvello. For anxiety, mood disorders, and stress. Good to use in conjunction with therapy. (found via the App Store or Google Play Store)
