Haig, B. (2012, May) Reforming Psychology's Research Methods Curriculum. Symposium for the 24th annual meeting of the Association for Psychological Science, Chicago, IL.

This symposium comprises three presentations on the need to reform psychology’s research methods curriculum. The first presentation argues that, in educating students, attention must be paid to the philosophy and psychology of science. The second presentation recommends that psychologists should practice observation-oriented modeling. The third presentation argues that psychologists need to engage seriously the field of scientific methodology.
