Gloria Valencia-Weber Psychology Diversified Students Program (PDSP) Scholarship

This scholarship recognizes the Department of Psychology’s long history of commitment to supporting diverse students who endeavor to study psychology and serve diverse populations, and research and scholarship including diverse populations. The scholarship is named for Gloria Valencia-Weber, a pioneer and initial leader of the PDSP program in the Department of Psychology. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage and honor students who are planning careers serving diverse populations or whose research contributes to psychological knowledge of diversity and diverse populations. The Psychology Department will recognize one outstanding undergraduate student with a $500 scholarship and a certificate to be presented during the Psychology Awards Banquet held by the Department.

Eligibility: The recipient of the Gloria Valencia-Weber PDSP Undergraduate Scholarship must be enrolled as full-time undergraduate student who is majoring in Psychology. Applicants must be either planning a career serving diverse populations or engaging in scholarship with diverse populations, or both.
